Join Us for the Women’s Equality Day Celebration

August 26th the Women’s Equality Coalition(WEC) of Linn County in collaboration with The League of Women Voters of Linn County and the AAUW will be presenting a forum on the Shrinking Rights of Women.

Forum panelists include:

Valerie Smith of the Linn County Auditor's office

Todd Dorman of the CR Gazette

Sara Michel community activist

Melissa McCollister, Professor at Mt Mercy University

and Judge Renee Sneitzer.

The event will begin at 6:30 at the Hiawatha Community Center. Join us for an informative night as we explore inequality involving women...a women’s right to choose, the upcoming vote in November, racism, and rights in the workplace.

Light appetizers and beverages will be served. The event is free, but donations are accepted
